Service was good. Restaurant was clean. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. You have to know Chinese Korean dishes to appreciate it. The parking lot is a crazy hot mess. Dead ends everywhere and everyone putting up signs to reserve spots for their dead business. The mall should not allow so many reserved spots that are clearly empty.
I did a takeout order and wow! The large serving of their Jja Jang Myeon was hefty! Service was great. I love how they packaged the food in spill proof containers. I made a bowl for my daughter and still had enough for two meals. It was very delicious and affordable. I'd definitely order from here again.
Recently saw this on Instagram & didn't realized I have bookmarked this place so decided to give it a try. Everything is great and generous portion size. We got regular size knowing large would be too big for us and boy we were wrong. We definitely over order and had left over for days. heheh We asked for the recommendation and our server suggested garlic chili fried chicken and that was delicious. meat was cooked in perfection and juicy. We ordered: chicken wings, honey walnut shrimp, jja jang fried rice, sweet & sour chicken, garlic chili fried chicken, and mixed mushroom to go. everything was so good, we were trying to pick which one is our favorite out of all the dishes but it was hard to choose as they were all so flavorful. I think if we have to choose I would say the garlic chili fried chicken & the jja jang fried rice. That one is basically the sauce used for the noodle dish but pair with fried rice instead. I heard they made their noodle too, definitely have to try that next time around. Their mapo tofu is a bit on the spicier side. If you like spicy this would be perfect for you. Honey walnut shrimp was great. fried in perfection and the sauce was perfect sweetness. mixed mushroom is great. it has all kinds of mushroom you can think of. if you are mushroom lover like myself, you will enjoy this dish very much. Service was great. They were quite busy but still give enough attention when needed. Ambiance and decor are nice. Love the fact their portion size are huge and in reasonable price which is a huge plus. Perfect for family style and will definitely bring our friends next time to try on other dishes.
I loveeeeee YuXiang!! We came in right before their dinner rush so service was quick and fresh One regular Jjajangmyeon was enough for 2 (very filling!) and the steamed mandoo was also very yummy! The prices are pretty reasonable considering it is a family-style restaurant and with big portions. The servers were also very nice and attentive! Yayy!
How did I just find out about this place? Apparently they've been here over 5 years! I got orange chicken and let me tell you it was fire! Not too spicy or tangy it was perfect! They have super good noodles too! They are cooked perfect not too soggy! I can't wait to come back here with my sister which is a Chinese food snob!
Literally one of our favorite restaurants in Vegas! It was tough finding a good jjajangmyeon spot until we heard about YuXiang. The food quality is amazing every time we go (and we go fairly often) and the amount of food you get for the price is worth it. Service has been on and off, but overall, fine - never amazing or awful, but just good. The restaurant is spacious, but sometimes the temperature is off lol like it's never the right climate inside - idk personal preference maybe. Anyway, our go-to dishes are the jjajangmyeon (my husband and I usually get the large to share) fried rice, and tang su yuk or the shrimp version. Always so good! Flavorful, great portion sizes, never disappointed us yet!
I was skeptical about going to a chinese korean restaurant at first, but I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed the food. Started with the salt & pepper squid and egg drop soup. They were both just decent. The meal got better with the entrees. We split the mapo tofu and chili garlic shrimp. Both were wonderful. I will definitely be back for them. I tried my friend's jjam bong. Not really my thing, but he enjoyed it a lot (we came here specifically so he could try theirs).
I had been wanting to try YuXiang for a while and finally got around to it one night when I happened to be in the area. YuXiang specializes in Korean-Chinese cuisine, which has its origins in the ethnic Chinese who lived in Korea. We came about an hour before their posted closing time and about half the tables were occupied. Of note, their last call for ordering is 30 minutes before closing. We ordered a split bowl of jjamppong (spicy seafood noodles) and jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles) off of their special menu plus a large order of tang su gi (sweet and sour crispy chicken). The servers seemed bilingual in Korean and English. You're given pickled radish, raw onion slices and bean paste, as well as pickled cabbage to go with your meal. Kind of a bummer there was no kimchi. For the food, I thought the jjajangmyeon and jjamppong were pretty solid. A pro for me were the amount of seafood in the jjamppong -- lots of squid and shrimp plus 2 mussels even though it was a split bowl. And there was a good amount of meat in the jjajangmyeon too, as opposed to a lot of other places that will just have too many veggies/onions as filler instead. The tang su gi came out piping hot and crispy indeed. The sweet and sour sauce was overly sweet though, I personally would just stick to the noodles next time. Overall, the food was tasty, though I will say the flavors felt on the milder/sweeter side -- it's hard for me to describe, but the flavors felt more in line with that of a milder Korean palate than Chinese? Which isn't bad perse but for context, I've always grown up eating Korean Chinese food from restaurants whose staff spoke Korean and Chinese, with both Korean and Chinese on the menu, etc. versus YuXiang which gave me the impression of a more Korean-ized style of Korean-Chinese food. It still satisfied my Korean-Chinese food craving, and they had a menu for weekday lunch specials that looked like it would be worth getting on future visits.
